Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care, Live-in Care & Supported Living
Location: Salisbury / Durrington
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time
About the Role
Brighter Days has recently joined the Natali Healthcare Solutions Group and is entering an exciting period of change, development and growth.
Already delivering approximately 4,500 hours of care each week, Brighter Days is one of the Group’s largest branches, providing both domiciliary and live-in care, with plans to further diversify into Supported Living.
We are now looking for an experienced, energetic and ambitious Registered Manager to lead the branch through its next stage of development.
This is a significant senior leadership role with overall responsibility for quality, compliance, people, operational performance and continued growth.
You will not be doing this alone. The Registered Manager is supported by an established branch structure including a Care Manager, Live-in Care Manager, dedicated Care Coordination team and a number of branch-based support roles.
We therefore need someone who can lead through others: setting direction, developing managers, creating accountability and bringing energy and momentum to a large and evolving operation.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Providing overall leadership and direction across domiciliary, live-in care and future Supported Living services.
- Leading, coaching and developing managers and more junior members of the branch team.
- Maintaining oversight of approximately 4,500 care hours per week.
- Ensuring consistently high standards of care, CQC compliance and service quality.
- Managing operational, quality, workforce and financial performance against agreed KPIs.
- Driving recruitment, retention, workforce planning and capacity.
- Developing strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
- Identifying and delivering sustainable opportunities for branch growth.
- Supporting tenders, mobilisation and the development of new service lines.
- Creating a positive, accountable and high-performing culture throughout the branch.
About You
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of progression within adult social care.
You may have progressed through increasingly senior management roles, taken responsibility for progressively larger services, significantly increased the number of care hours delivered within a branch, or successfully grown and developed new services.
Whatever your career path, we want to see evidence that you have developed, progressed and delivered results.
You will be an energetic and motivational leader who enjoys developing people and can coach and mentor less experienced managers rather than simply taking over operational tasks yourself.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous Registered Manager experience within adult social care.
- Significant experience within domiciliary care.
- Experience managing a large-scale care service and significant weekly care hours.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing managers and operational teams.
- Evidence of delivering service growth and increasing capacity.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Experience managing budgets, workforce performance, recruitment and retention.
- The ability to challenge constructively, hold people accountable and drive improvement.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Essential Requirements
- Previous Registered Manager experience within adult social care.
- Strong domiciliary care management experience.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care, or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong knowledge of CQC and regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading management teams and taking accountability for service performance.
Desirable Experience
We would particularly welcome applicants who have:
- Managed services delivering 2,000+ care hours per week, ideally significantly more.
- Managed or grown a large domiciliary care operation.
- Experience across domiciliary, live-in care and/or Supported Living.
- Managed multiple service lines through dedicated managers.
- Supported tenders or service mobilisation.
- Demonstrated significant service growth whilst maintaining quality and compliance.
- Worked closely with local authority commissioners.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of one of the Natali Group’s largest branches at a genuinely exciting point in its development.
You will inherit an established team and management structure, but there is significant opportunity to shape the culture, develop the people, improve performance and grow the operation further.
We offer:
- £50,000 salary
- Support from an experienced Senior Leadership Team
- An established branch management and coordination structure
- The opportunity to lead one of the Group’s flagship services
- Significant scope to grow and diversify the branch
- Ongoing professional development
- Career progression within a growing healthcare group
If you are an experienced Registered Manager who has progressed through your career, enjoys developing people and can demonstrate that you know how to lead and grow a substantial care operation, we would love to hear from you.
