About the Role
Are you an experienced care professional looking to take the next step into quality and compliance?
We are seeking a Quality & Compliance Support Officer to support quality, governance, and regulatory compliance across our domiciliary and supported living services. This is a developmental role, ideal for someone with experience in domiciliary care who is looking to progress into a quality and compliance-focused career.
Reporting to the Group Quality & Compliance Lead, you will work closely with branch teams to support CQC readiness, embed good practice, and provide practical, hands-on compliance support where required.
This is a hybrid role, working from home some of the time, with regular travel required to branches across Warwickshire, Hampshire, and Dorset. Occasional travel to other locations may be required in line with business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Quality Support
- Support routine and targeted compliance audits across domiciliary care branches
- Carry out quality spot checks, file reviews, care plan audits, and governance checks
- Support branches to understand audit findings and implement action plans
- Escalate risks, concerns, and recurring themes to the Group Quality & Compliance Lead
Branch-Based Support
- Provide focused, practical compliance support within branches
- Support improvements in documentation, care planning, audits, and CQC evidence
- Work alongside Registered Managers and senior staff to embed compliance processes
- Act as a visible, approachable compliance presence for branch teams
Training & Compliance Roll-Out
- Support the rollout of compliance-related training and policy updates
- Assist with delivering basic compliance briefings and refresher sessions
- Monitor mandatory training completion and escalate gaps
- Reinforce learning from audits, incidents, complaints, and lessons learned
Governance, Reporting & Administration
- Maintain compliance records, trackers, and audit logs
- Support evidence gathering for CQC inspections and local authority audits
- Complete clear audit reports and compliance summaries
- Identify trends, risks, and good practice across the group
About You
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
- Experience working within a CQC-regulated domiciliary care service
- Experience supporting audits, quality checks, or compliance activity
- Good understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
- Strong attention to detail and written reporting skills
- Confident, supportive communication style
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Enhanced DBS disclosure

- Willingness to work towards further qualifications in quality, compliance, or leadership
